PFTrack has a set of command line arguments to script the building of projects, loading of media, and processing of macro scripts.
PFTrack can be ran from the command line using the Windows Command Prompt tool.PFTrack can be ran from the command line using the Terminal on macOS.PFTrack can be ran from the command line using any shell/terminal on Linux.}
To run PFTrack, enter a command such as:
-help
Only a single instance of PFTrack can run on a given machine at any one time. If you try to launch PFTrack from the command line while another copy is already running you will see this error message:
ERROR: already running
and the application will immediately exit. If you specify the -retry command line argument then rather than immediately exiting PFTrack will wait until the other running copy completes and then runs.
Important: The first time you launch a new version of PFTrack, you will have to manually accept the EULA terms that are displayed, and perform any licensing requirements such as Enterprise users connecting to a PFBucket server. Once the EULA is accepted and licensing is established, additional launches of PFTrack with command line arguments will operate automatically without the need for any manual intervention.
Note: command line control of PFTrack is only available to Studio and Enterprise customers.
